About Our Family

Chris and I have been married for almost 7 years now (Wow) time flies by!!! We meet our junior year of high school and we were married 2 weeks after we graduated high school (we were just babies). Shortly after our marriage Chris went to boot camp for the Air Force and I followed him to Texas where we lived for about 1 year. After completing his training in Texas we were off to Phoenix, Arizona for our next adventure (Flight School)! Chris received his commercial Pilot's license and began flight instructing to gain flight time (you need so much before an airline will hire you). We lived in Arizona for 2 years while he gained experience and now he flys for SkyWest Airlines out of the Salt Lake City, Utah airport. After we moved back to Utah I went to school to become an Aesthetician and shortly thereafter became pregnant with our sweet baby girl Adelynn Marie Jense (born June 21, 2008). Life gets challenging being a stay at home mom with the hubby gone 3 to 4 nights a week, but we manage and when we are together we make the best of our time!

Our New Home!

Chris and I decided in September that we were going to try and sell our town home and buy a new home with the market being the way that it is, we decided that if we broke even on our town home and could buy a new home at good price it would be the right time to do it..... So, we decided to have our Realtor (Wade Dudley, who is the best in the business by the way!) list our property and sold it in 5 days (talk about meant to be)!!! It was all so sudden and the buyer wanted to close within 2 weeks!!! So I started packing and we started looking for new home, thankfully Chris' grandfather had a vacant apartment for us to stay in until we found our house (everything was just falling into place for us). We started looking all around Utah county everywhere from Alpine to Santaquin and fell in love with a property in Santaquin believe it or not (I swore I would never live in a hickville like that, but here I am happy as can be!) We bought our home for a really good price and are not planning on ever moving again :) Chris said since our master bedroom is on the main floor that it will be perfect for us to grow old and gray in (gotta love Chris, always thinking ahead) Anyways, we are now moved into the new house and have been doing some landscaping (I will post picture of our rock wall later). We are very fortunate and happy to be here. I will post more pics of the house and landscaping later, but here is a pic of the outside :)

Halloween

I know this post is late for Halloween (LOL) but I'm a procrastinator, so here it is anyways. Addie picked out her Girafee costume (she thought it was a horse and kept making horse sounds:) ) Anyhow, she couldn't wait to try on her girafee/horse costume, so we let her where it in the store and she loved it! Sorry I don't have any more Halloween pics but this one of her riding in the grocery cart in her costume.
