Yesterday Grandma, Addie, Aubrey & I went to Gardner Village to the petting zoo :). Aubrey showed Addie the right way to ride the horse, then we pet all the lambs and goats (one of the goats in paticular thought Addie looked tasty and kept trying to take a nibble of her Lol). Addie loved walking over a little bridge they had more than anything else ;). Then we all went to get a bubble tea and treat from the bakery! Addie loves going anywhere especially if her grandma and Aubrey (her best friend/cousin) come along!

Addie and I were watching the tribute to Michael Jackson on VH1 when he passed away and I learned that no matter what age you are, nobody can help busting a move when they listen to Michael Jackson's music ;)

A long post!!!

This year has went by so fast and I have a lot to write about since I never update our sad blog :( This post is going to be pretty lengthy (just a pre-warning)!!! Sadly enough I don't even know where to start...

I guess I will start from my last update (about 1 year ago LOL)


Adelynn had her first camping trip in July 2008

In September we celebrated my first birthday as a mom ;)

In October Adelynn had her first Halloween (unfortunately I cant find the pic I took of her in her costume :( That is if I remembered to take one at all! For those who know me understand that this is a problem I struggle with, but I'm definetly improving on)

Chris' grandpa bought an airplane and kindly let take it for a spin

We had our first Christmas with Addie!

We celebrated the new year at Grandma & Grandpa Speters House and ate tons of food that Jume and PaJim made (YUM!!!)








In February Chris wanted Addie to experience Chuck-E-Cheese for the first time (she loved it)! Good thinking dada ;)





In April we went on a week vacation to Florida and the BAHAMAS!!! We took Addie along with us, which was challenging but we made it through it all and had a great time!

They had a play area for kids and happened to have the same exact kitchen that Addie has at home on the boat, so It was like she never left home!

Adelynn's First Birthday was on June 21st!!! She started walking on her birthday :) Now that she gets around on her own I have to follow her everywhere to see what she is up to (some of her favorite things to do are: stick her hand in the toilet, unravel the toilet paper, stick crumbs of any kind in her mouth, stand on her toys & climb up and stand on the coffee table). She is so beautiful we are so proud to have her as a part of our family!

Addie, Mama, Grandma, Corinne (my cousin) & Sanora (Corinne's dog) hiked to Stewart Falls in July (IT WAS HOT!) We had a little picnic when we got to the falls and Addie fell asleep during the ride on my back :) Lots of fun

In August this year we went to Phoenix to visit our good friends Steve & Amy (it had been 1 year since they had seen us or Adelynn, so it was good to catch up). We cooled down in their pool for a bit and then went out to dinner (Steve ordered the biggest plate of ribs I had ever seen in my life, it was halarious!)
